Hornswoggle. Must. DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay. I was browsing Diva Dirt.com (which by the way, is easily the best women's wrestling site I've ever come across!) and I found an article entitled "In Video: Last Night’s Injury Aftermath + Creepy Leprechaun Attacks Layla" and I knew it couldn't be good. I clicked on it to find a video shot at a WWE SmackDown live event in Maine. It turns out that the WWE Women's Champion Layla (my favorite diva right now) accidentally injured Kelly Kelly after she dropkicked her in the back of the neck. The ref declared Layla the winner of the match and Kelly was taken to the back. While Layla was celebrating (she also scored tons of heat!) this happened:
Hornswoggle comes into the ring. Why? No idea. Well he's pissed that Layla injured Kelly, so he yells at Layla. Layla tries to defend herself, though I can't hear what she's saying because Swoggle's pop is so damn big. Why the hell does everyone like Hornswoggle??? Oh well. While Layla is explaining, Hornswoggle bites her finger! Layla's starts screaming in pain and I'll admit, it's pretty funny. Hornswoggle let's go, and the gives her a Stone Cold Stunner!!! At this point, I want to blow the little fucker's brains out! Layla's selling is absolutely hilarious though. She went flying! She took it as if Stone Cold himself hit it on her! Hornswoggle then celebrates, because he just loves harrassing attractive women and completely embarrassing them in front of large crowds!

Well I must say, the segment was pretty funny, but it really buried poor Layla. If your going to bury someone, did it HAVE to be the Women's Champion? The Women's Champion always should be able to be taken seriously, but when she's getting humiliated by the company's laughing stock, it becomes really difficult. I'm sure they just sent in Hornswoggle to take away the attention from Kelly's injury, which is fine, but I heard this isn't the first time Layla has taken the stunner from Swoggle. Obviously, in the previous times, Kelly didn't get injured, so it makes very pissed that they would such a thing to the top diva in the WWE. All I have to say is HORNSWOGGLE MUST DIE!!!

Also, please note, I'm going to be visiting my Grandma's for a month, so I won't be updating the site in awhile. Just giving you all a heads-up! Thanks!

My WWE NXT Thoughts

Okay. So yesterday was the pilot for the new WWE NXT. So what NXT exactly is very simple. Eight WWE employees train eight rookies to fufill the dream of being a WWE Superstar. It's kind of like WWE's old show Tough Enough, but I think that is much better than that. Now first off, I guess I should introduce you to NXT's talent. Here are my top three picks to win!

Daniel Bryan: This young man is already a very established wrestler. He's 28 years old, and has traveled the world performing in independent promotions. He claims to be a submission expert, which in my opinion WWE could use more of. After all, dreat technical wrestlers like Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle all made WWE what is today. I like this kid. He's very talented and has lots of charisma for a rookie. Something about him just says "World Champion", and I think I know why. It's probably because he HAS BEEN WORLD CHAMPION! Yeah. I'll give you a hint. Take his first name and surname and reverse it. Then put a 'son' at the end and what do you get? That's right! Former-ROH World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson! WWE sure did put some real effort into hiding his identity right? I think a former champion from one of the WWE's fiercest rivals would deserve a better introduction, but nope. Oh well. His pro is The Miz who appears to be very pushy with. His first match was against the World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, and I must say. It was unforgettable. Sure Daniel came up a little short, but he definetly put up a great show and is my current pick to win NXT.

Heath Slater: Slater has been in the WWE twice actually. He first signed with the WWE in 2003. When his contract expired, he signed again in 2006. In both of his times with the company, Slater has only been in the developemental territories so far, so he's probably got tons of training already. And with Christian as his pro, Slater is my second pick to win this thing.

Wade Bennett: England's best bare knuckle fighter has been in the WWE for a little over two years now, competing in WWE developemental plant. I've never seen him compete before, but he's still my third pick anyways. Why? Because his pro is your World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho! Talk about advantage! Having your trainer be the best in the world at what he does? Man, that should be considered cheating as far as I'm concered!

So those are my top three picks to win NXT. Some other important info about NXT. One: The host of the show is probably my favorite commentator in the WWE (of course only until JR returns) Matt Striker! Two: Savannah is the ring announcer, which sucks. I was hoping she would go to the main roster with ECW out of the picture. I've seen a couple of her matches on YouTube and I was pretty impressed. I think the should have put her on SmackDown. After all, SD is really in need af more babyface divas right now. Three: They couldn't have picked a worse announce team. Josh Matthews and *cringe* Michael Cole! I don't have much of a problem with Josh. I just think he really lacks excitement in his voice, which is important to have when your a commentator for any type of sports program. And Michael Cole is the exact opposite. He acts way too excited and as a result, his voice just ends up totally gay. Plus I really hate his commentating style. He always claims to have spoken with competitors before their match-ups, but if you look into reality for a moment, you begin to wonder. Who would want to talk with a loser like Cole? "I spoke with so and so earlier today and he/she said..." Sure you did Cole. Sure you did.

Overall I think NXT is pretty cool and I think you should start watching it. I don't think it's really worthy enough to replace ECW, that's for sure, but it's worth your tim to watch. Afterall, it's only an hour, right?
